Security leaders are usually asked to present to a board once or twice a year, and the preparation almost always goes into the wrong thing. The deck gets denser, the controls get enumerated, and the meeting still ends with somebody asking whether we are secure.
That question is not naive. It is a board doing its job badly served by an answer it cannot use. This session works on the translation: from a technical position that is accurate to a statement that is both accurate and decidable.
It is a working session rather than a talk. Bring a real risk you are currently unable to explain upwards, and you will leave with a way to put it.
